A nursery room leader oversees a specific room, acting as a key member of the team to ensure high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

A Nursery Practitioner safeguards and nurtures young children (0-5 years), creating safe and stimulating environments, planning and leading engaging activities to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive growth, and maintaining strong communication with parents and staff.
Key responsibilities involve acting as a key worker, monitoring development, managing daily routines such as feeding and nappy changes, ensuring adherence to childcare frameworks such as the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and fostering children's independence and social skills.
A nursery assistant provides essential care and educational support to young children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and development.
Key responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with feeding and hygiene, organising educational activities such as music time, arts, and crafts, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Communication with parents, accurate record-keeping of children's progress, and working collaboratively with other staff members are also crucial aspects of the role.
